The Eritrean Community of the DMV (EC‑DMV) successfully celebrated Eritrean Community Day 2026, bringing together families, students, and community leaders for a meaningful day of culture and unity.
The event honored students who completed the first session of the EC‑DMV Tigrigna class, recognizing their hard work in learning the Fidel and strengthening their connection to Eritrean heritage. Teachers and parents were also acknowledged for their dedication and support.
The Executive Board provided an important update on the organization’s budget and shared the latest progress on efforts to purchase a permanent community center, a major step toward expanding cultural and educational programs.
